Holiday Makeup Challenge (4 of 30)

6 Dec

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is having a great Sunday! Today’s Makeup Challenge look is called “Gold Star”. I kept it a “Simple Sunday”, giving you inspiration for a timeless and effortless glow so that you can shine like a star!

30 Day Holiday Makeup Challenge (Day 4 of 30) “Gold Star”

***like always, I do NOT retouch my photos or use filters. It’s the foundation, bronzer, blush, and highlighting powder that gives this look such a lovely glow. At the end of this post i have listed all of the products.

I made a large focus of this look on the skin. I wanted a very natural glow so that the person shines more then the makeup, therefore making them the star and not the makeup. But don’t worry, there will be more “artful” looks to come. Wait until you see Monday’s look! Let’s just say there will be glitter involved! 😉

Let me know what you think about the holiday makeup looks that I’m posting. Do you want to see more “artsy” and “bold” looks? Or would you care for more simple ones like this one. Or would you like a variety?

By the way, the eye shadow on the lid is ONE COLOR! Stars glow differently and beautifully from all angles and so should your eyes! I used the Armani Eyes to Kill Silk Shadow in Copper Black (strange they call it that because it looks more gold then copper). A cheaper version (and one just as good, would be the Makeup Geek duochrome shadow called “Ritzy”.

Try this look! I guarantee you’ll get a double take! 😉

Another great thing about simple eye shadow is that you can really focus in on your brows. 🙂
